This shampoo was fabulous! It lathered really well on very wet hair, at least for me, but I have fine curly hair. So my hair has to be very wet no matter what I put in it. It cleaned my hair without stripping it. Which I love.

Using it with the conditioner left my hair super smooth and tangle free when blown dry. I hardly had to brush it after. Which is unheard of especially after using a blow dryer.

Only thing I didn't love is the extremely strong almond extract fragrance. It's one of my least favorite scents. But once I rinsed my hair it was gone.

I have 4A hair and deal with shedding from time to time, so I’m always cautious about what shampoos I use. This one surprised me—in a good way. The smell is fresh and not overpowering, it lathers well, and most importantly, it didn’t cause any shedding. My hair felt clean, soft, and moisturized after washing. It’s definitely a shampoo I feel safe using regularly, especially for textured hair like mine.

I have been so frustrated with my frizzy, fine hair, particularly in the humid south. I've tried all kinds of shampoos and conditioners even those meant for wavy hair to no avail. It might look decent on day one but I literally could not comb or style it the next day. My hair was unruly, no shine, and looked like straw. I took the strand-in-water hair test that Kitsch suggested and learned that my hair needs moisture, not protein. This shampoo and conditioner works great! I use it along with the Kitsch leave in conditioner, another great product, and my hair is finally cooperative. It has shine, movement and is easy to style. I can go several days without washing or adding water to restyle simply by wrapping it around a Kitsch wand. Thank you, Kitsch!

I think this shampoo really gives great quality for affordable pricing. It gave my hair nearly identical to my salon shampoos that I usually use and would happily pay half the price for the same quality. My hair feels smooth and has been very easy to manage since e using.

I have used the rice water shampoo and conditioner. Loved them. Now I am using castor oil shampoo and conditioner. Love them too. Also bought myself one of the hair brushes. Loved it so much I bought one for my granddaughter. I really love your products. Thank you

After fully using my sample of the Castor Oil liquid shampoo, I was very happy with it. It lathered well and smelled nice (not too strong!). After each use my hair at least felt thicker and smoother. I would need to buy more to see if it proves to have a longterm effect, but short term my long curly hair seemed to like it. I would definitely consider getting more!
